SM U-101 was one of the 329 submarines serving in the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) in World War I. U-101 was engaged in the naval warfare and took part in the First Battle of the Atlantic.[1] On 26 November 1917, U-101 torpedoed and damaged RFA Crenella,[2] which managed to return to port with assistance from USS Cushing.[3]
